Local Pick-up and Delivery

We can pick up your instruments and deliver them back to you personally!

• $25 fee up to 30 miles
• Add $5 for each additional 10 miles
• Pick-up/delivery fee added to final invoicing depending on travel distance
  • Small handling fee may apply to cover any supplies used for repackaging, coding, shipping, etc.
• 1-3 day turnaround*

*While we will always strive to be accommodating and as timely as possible, there can always be unpredictable circumstances that are out of our control such as travel delays, inclement weather, mechanical issues, illness, etc. Although rare, please use caution when choosing to send out entire supplies of instruments that may delay functionality should any of these things occur and delay delivery.

Shipping Information

You can also ship your instruments to us!

• 1-3 day turnaround from time package is received.
• Shipping time may vary depending on choice of carrier and shipping type.
• Shipping costs will be billed with final invoice.
  • Option #1: You can choose to ship to us via your choice of carrier. You will only be invoiced for the return shipping through UPS.
  • Option #2: You can request a shipping label through Keep Your Edge which will be emailed to you. This is a good option if you do not have a pre-paid carrier account and would like to save a little money on the shipping cost. You will be invoiced for all shipping fees incurred.

Keep Your Edge is not responsible for delays incurred by delivery services during the shipping process. We will do all we can to ensure timely processing and delivery of sharpened instruments. We will typically use UPS delivery service unless otherwise specified.

• All instruments must be packaged and sterilized according to sterilization guidelines with proper indicators (sterilization envelopes, sterilization tapes, etc.)

• Please use caution when choosing to send out entire supplies of instruments that may delay functionality should any delay in delivery occur.
• Please include a printed copy of your order with your shipment.

Keep Your Edge is not responsible for:

• Instruments received for sharpening with thin or misshapen blades due to previous poor sharpening techniques or heavy wear due to overuse. These issues can cause the need for heavier blade removal for reshaping and sharpening. Please use your professional judgment and discretion in determining the integrity of any instrument you use to reduce risk to you and your patients.
  • We will be as conservative as we possibly can when sharpening to preserve and prolong the life of your instruments. If an instrument is deemed unusable it will be set aside and returned at no charge with recommendation for replacement.
  • We may also make note of any instruments that may still be useful but are not recommended for further sharpening.
• Please use your professional judgment and discretion in determining the integrity of any instrument you use to reduce risk to you and your patients.
• Delays in shipping due to weather, traffic delays, mechanical issues, illness, etc.
• Delays incurred by delivery services during the shipping process. We will do all we can to ensure timely processing and delivery of sharpened instruments. We will typically use UPS delivery service unless otherwise specified.
